Submission Guidelines

We invite leaders, educators, administrators, and other key stakeholders within the education industry to contribute articles that can inspire and inform others in the field. Submissions should focus on innovative leadership practices, new approaches to management, organizational success stories, and topics that are specifically relevant to school systems within the southeastern United States.

Submissions should adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Word Count Range: Articles should be between 300 and 1,200 words. We encourage clear, concise writing that communicates insights effectively while providing actionable takeaways for readers.
  • Relevance: Content should focus on topics and issues that directly impact school systems in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi. These can include trends in education leadership, policy changes, technology adoption, financial strategies, human resources management, and more.
  • Tone: Submissions should maintain a professional yet approachable tone, encouraging a broad audience to engage with the content. We value articles that offer real-world examples and practical advice that can be implemented across varying school system structures.
  • Deadline: All submissions must be received by March 21 for consideration in the annual publication.

We are accepting submissions across a range of categories that reflect the diverse nature of leadership in education. These categories may include, but are not limited to:

  • Finance and Budgeting: Financial strategies and innovations that are enabling school systems to do more with less.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Leadership efforts focused on fostering inclusive and equitable learning environments.
  • Community Engagement and Partnerships: Highlighting how school systems are collaborating with local communities, businesses, and organizations to improve educational outcomes.

Target Audience and Distribution

Leadership on Campus reaches an influential and wide-ranging audience across the southeastern United States. The magazine will be distributed to:

  • School System Administration: Superintendents, department heads, school boards, and other administrative personnel in K-12 school systems.
  • Central Offices: Key decision-makers and leaders within district offices.
  • Industry Conferences: The magazine will be distributed at conferences targeting education professionals, particularly in areas such as school finance, human resources, school business officials, and leadership. These include regional and national gatherings where educators and school leaders convene to share best practices, learn about new technologies, and stay informed about the latest developments in education.

In addition to physical distribution, Leadership on Campus will also be available in digital format to reach a broader audience. This ensures that the magazine’s insights and resources are easily accessible to those who may not attend in-person events but are still committed to staying ahead of the curve in the education sector.
